September 17th , 2021 To Whom It May Concern, It is with great pleasure that I write this recommendation on behalf of Erica Spitz. I have known Erica since 2007 when she was my second-grade teacher. Even as a young second grader, Erica had a big impact on me. I recall her as one of my favorite teachers. I was lucky enough to cross paths with Erica again in 2019 in a way that continued to impact me as a student. When I was a second semester senior in high school, I had the opportunity through Foxborough High School to take a class that allowed me to go to my former elementary school and work with their Guidance Department for school credit. . The guidance counselor placed me into Erica’s classroom, where at the time she was teaching 1st grade I was allowed to work with a small group of her students who had social or emotion issues as well as learning disabilities. I was given the chance to see Erica interact in the classroom every day for 5 months with her students. I learned so much from her in that short period of time. The way Erica was able to handle the daily challenges that go along with being a first-grade teacher, as well as the extra challenges she faced because she had children in her classroom with extra needs was incredible and invaluable. Erica is extremely enthusiastic in everything she does. You know immediately that she has a passion for working with children and guiding them. There is no doubt she will take on whatever the challenge she is given with passion and enthusiasm. She has great patience and is one of the kindest people I have ever met. Erica would be an asset to any position she takes on. Her love for working with children and helping people shines through all that she does. Thank you
Sincerely, Jenna Pothier Bryant University/Class of 2023
